1. I want to be a Baker
Gist: I Want to be a Baker is about a young child wanting to become a baker, and through the trials of learning, experiencing the feelings of giving up. But persevering and receiving help he eventually achieves his goals.
Recommended for: 3-5-year-olds
What We Love: A cute, little story that encourages children to never give up on their dreams. Easy to grasp with fun graphics and simple words, makes it enjoyable for smaller kids. Take a printout and ask older kids to identify and circle sight words such as no, me, what, you, and others.
2. Who is Faster?
Gist: Which animal is fast and which is slow? This book tells young readers which animals are faster than others.
Recommended for: 3-5-year-olds
What We Love: Introduce your kids to the comparative degree through this book. For children who love animals, this book is a delight as they get to see a range of animals and also learn about them. Make the book more fun by making sounds of the next faster animals and asking your kid to guess the same. Don’t forget to reward them for the right answer!
3. Are we there yet?
Gist: Jim and Jen are going to the zoo and the drive never seems to end. EVER! They just made a song for the road and the tune is growing on mom and dad. Let’s tap our feet and sing along.

What We Love: A light book about family bonding, trips that also teaches children patience. A great bedtime read with an accompanying song for smaller children to fall asleep to. You can reminisce your travels and road trips with your elder kids and bond over the good times that you have had!
4. Handmade in India
Gist: This book is compiled by Olivia Fraser who traveled around India painting for the past many years. This book has arisen from her observations of the vast colorful array of people she has come across during her travels.
Recommended for: 5-7-year-olds
What We Love: Perfect read for Republic Day! The book depicts and talks about various crafts and arts found in various parts of India. A great book to introduce the concept of ‘Unity in Diversity’ and to make children realize and proud of the brilliant, skilled dexterous population of our nation.
